خبرگزاری هرانا – پانصد و پنجاه نفر از فعالان سیاسی، کارگری و نویسندگان و روزنامه‌نگاران سراسر جهان با صدور بیانیه‌ای خواهان آزادی بی‌قید و شرط شاهرخ زمانی و پایان اعتصاب غذای او شدند. نسخه‌ای از این بیانیه که به دو زبان فارسی و انگلیسی برای انتشار در اختیار رادیو کوچه قرار گرفته به شرح زیر است.
با گذشت یک ماه از اعتصاب غذای فعال کارگری، شاهرخ زمانی و سکوت نهادهای حقوق بشری، ما جمعی از فعالان سیاسی، روزنامه نگاران و نویسندگان و اعضای تشکل‌های کارگری وظیفهٔ خود می‌دانیم که ضمن جلب حمایت نهادهای جهانی حقوق بشر و فعالان و نهادهای کارگری در هر کجای جهان که هستند و نیز اعلان حمایت از مطالبات برحق شاهرخ زمانی، بدین وسیله بر لزوم اقدام هر چه سریع‌تر جهت پایان یافتن اعتصاب غذا و آزادی این فعال کارگری تاکید می‌کنیم.
شاهرخ زمانی، کارگر و نقاش ساختمان ۴۹ ساله، عضو شورای نمایندگان «کمیته پیگیری ایجاد تشکل‌های کارگری» و عضو هیات بازگشایی سندیکای کارگران نقاش و تزیین ساختمان، در تاریخ ۱۸ خرداد ۱۳۹۰، در شهر تبریز دستگیر و به وزارت اطلاعات منتقل شد و در تاریخ ۲۷ مردادماه‌‌ همان سال در دادگاه انقلاب تبریز به اتهام تشکیل گروه‌های مخالف نظام به ۱۰ سال حبس تعزیری و به اتهام فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام به یک سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شد.
شاهرخ زمانی در طی دو سال گذشته، در دوران حبس تعزیری خود، تحت شرایط غیرانسانی و طاقت فرسا، حتا از کمترین حقوق انسانی محروم نگه داشته شده است. به علاوه، طی این مدت به چهار زندان فرستاده شده است: زندان‌های یزد، تبریز، گوهردشت و اینک به زندان قزل حصار تبعید شده است. این فعال کارگری از تاریخ ۲۰ اسفندماه در اعتراض به انتقال به زندان قزل حصار، دست به اعتصاب غذا زده است و پس از گذشت یک ماه در شرایط جسمی نامناسبی قرار دارد. با این وجود هیچ کدام از مسئولان زندان و حکومت جمهوری اسلامی به خواست‌ها و مطالبات شاهرخ زمانی توجهی نشان نداده‌اند.
حمایت و همبستگی گستردهٔ کارگران از شاهرخ زمانی و نیز رساندن صدای این فعال کارگری به بیرون از دیوارهای زندان تنها راه عملی نجات وی است.
ما امضاکنندگان از خواست‌ها و مطالبات شاهرخ زمانی حمایت می‌کنیم و خواهان آزادی همهٔ فعالان کارگری از زندان‌های جمهوری اسلامی ایران هستیم.

Support Shahrokh Zamani
After a month of hunger strike by the worker activist، Shahrokh Zamani، and the silence of the Human Rights organizations، we، a number of political activists، journalists، writers، and members of the workers unions take it as our responsibility to create mass public awareness about Shahrokh Zamani» s hunger strike that seriously is threatening his life – and draw the international Human Rights organizations and workers activists» attention to this matter before it becomes too late. Whilst we express our support for Shahrokh Zamani» s legitimate demands، we insist on the urgent necessity of ending his hunger strike and demand his immediate release from jail.
Shahrokh Zamani، a ۴۹-year-old worker and painter، a member of The Provisional Board for Reopening of House-Painter Workers» Union and the Follow-up Committee to Set up Free Labour Organizations، was arrested in Tabriz on June ۸th ۲۰۱۱ and transferred to Tabriz Intelligence Prison. On August ۱۸th of the same year he was sentenced to a ۱۰ year imprisonment، with the charge of founding opposition groups، and another ۱ year for the charge of propaganda against the regime.
Zamani، in the past two years of serving his imprisonment، has been sent to ۴ different prisons: first he was exiled to Yazd prison، returned back to Tabriz again، then he was transferred to Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj، and since March ۱۱th ۲۰۱۴، he has been exiled to Ghezelhesar Prison in Karaj، housing only inmates charged with drug-related crimes. He has been deprived of his fundamental rights and has suffered the harshest and inhumane conditions. Since his transfer to Ghezelhesar Prison، on March ۱۱th ۲۰۱۴، he has been on a hunger strike and now، past a month، he is suffering from critical health conditions. No prison authorities or authorities of the Islamic Regime of Iran have paid any attention to his legitimate demands، yet.
Needless to say that the only option left before us to save Shahrokh Zamani» s life، is to call upon you، the labour activists and the human rights defenders to stand with us، be his voice، and forward his message all over the world.
We، the undersigned، support Shahrokh Zamani» s demands and call for immediate and unconditional release of Shahrokh Zamani and all other Labour activists from the bloody prisons of the Islamic Regime of Iran.
